About Us
Milstead Environmental, LLC is a full-service environmental company offering emergency response for oil spills and hazardous materials, soil remediation vacuum truck, and roll-off services.

Operating from three response centers, focusing on the southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana we position our personnel strategically to minimize response times. Milstead Environmental can mobilize and be in route with fully stocked response units and specialized equipment to mitigate environmental incidents. To complement our primary resources of highly trained personnel Milstead owns most of the equipment needed to respond to our customers needs.

Milstead Environmental will respond in a safe and efficient manner, working with the authorities involved to encourage a seamless and effective clean-up effort. Utilizing much of the same standard operating procedures as local fire departments, we adapt and work well with other emergency entities.

Adhering to local and national laws, we can dispose of waste in a cost effective and environmentally friendly manner, often recycling. We provide the proper documentation to assure that the cleanup was performed and the site restored to pre-incident conditions, relieving clients from further liabilities.

Amy Milstead-Ellzey
President, Milstead Companies/Milstead Environmental
Born and raised in the business, Amy has been “hands on” at Milstead from an early age. As president, Amy’s responsibilities encompass all administrative services for Milstead Companies. She oversees human resources including hiring, payroll, and benefits administration for all Milstead Companies employees.

Amy views environmental conservation as a responsibility to her community and future generations. Her commitment to the community is reflected in a variety of ways including participation as a member of the Board of Directors for the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and for the Texas Towing & Storage Association. Amy’s passion for her community is the basis for projects ranging from the March of Dimes to adopting a needy family.

Michael Ellzey
Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer

Michael began his career at the Milstead Companies at Milstead Automotive while attending Sam Houston State University. His responsibilities at Milstead Environmental include scheduling, maintenance and day-to-day operations. He oversees the legal and financial aspects of the company.

While at SHSU, Michael successfully completed an internship with the FDIC, graduating with a BBA in Finance. He spent several years at Central Bank. While at First National Bank, Michael was promoted to Branch President. He joined Milstead Environmental in January 2008.

Active in the community, Michael joined the Board of Directors for the South Montgomery Chamber of Commerce and is the Treasurer for Texas New Communities.

From his earliest association as a tow truck driver for Milstead Automotive, James Wilson’s leadership abilities were recognized. He brings to Milstead Environmental years of experience dealing with accident scenes and the environmental issues created by them. James is committed to finding the safest and best environmental solutions for Milstead clients.
